' Get out there and see cork city '.

This was my starting point. The only way to recognize a problem or get inspiration was to get out and see what was out there. See what we have, see whats missing, what works, what takes away from the city and most importantly, what brings people together in a positive way.

This is one of the innovative ideas I came across in the city. The ' Before I die ' wall where members of the public fill in the space.

In this beautiful Cathedral in the middle of Cork city is a large 3-D map of Cork city. I loved this model. As students we gathered round pointing out all the places we recognized and it is a great idea to show the public how this city is built around a huge river.
